OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT

"Caring for our Communities through Ministry and Social Activities"

 

We believe that God is calling SOLID to become a true community church that will impact our community; develop our members potential; get members to commit to ministry; ultimately launch members out into doing the work of God.

 

 

Purposes of SOLID

 

1. Worship - “love the Lord your God with all your heart”

2. Ministry - “love your neighbour as yourself”

3. Evangelism – “go and make disciples”

4. Fellowship - “baptizing them”

5. Training /Equipping - “teaching them”

 

• Matt. 22:37-40 – “Love the Lord your God with all your soul and with all your mind…. Love your neighbour as yourself. All the law of the prophets hangs on these two commandments.”

 

• Matt. 28:19-20 – “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”.
